8 MONTHS

Nova is 8 months old today.

I sewed a Hymie's t-shirt into a little romper for her, and it turned out pretty cute.

THURSDAY PHOTO BOOTH

Our computer is equipped with a camera and a tiny program called photo booth. Dave & I have a habit of snapping funny photos of ourselves and the kids whenever the idea strikes. This has resulted in many, many silly pictures. I thought I'd spend this week sharing with you some of my favorites!

NOVA AT THE RECORD STORE

Now that she learned how to play peek-a-boo, she'll do it with anything she can get her hands on.

GRAHAM CRACKERS

Nova is very serious about graham crackers.

NOT FEELING WELL

For the first time in Gus's short life, he has a high fever and is pretty sick. We're keeping him busy with lots of cuddling (and dinosaur movies). Poor little guy!

PINK SWEATER

I just finished a sweater for Nova. The pattern is Jessica from Nashua Handknits, for those who like to know such important details. I have a policy of not making clothes for the kids unless the pattern is pictured with a child wearing the garment. Whenever I try a pattern for a cute sweater that is hanging on a hanger, it never turns out looking so great when you put it on.

This one turned out just as I had hoped. The colors are muted in this photo, it's a nice bright pink. It's super soft and washable too, an asset of knitting with sock yarn.

Cute!
